Zion Lutheran Church was founded by Swedish immigrants in 1870.
This church has been in the Anoka area for 137 years and is still growing in congregation size.
Sunday School at Zion is offered at 8:30, 9:45 & 11 am for ages 3-5th grade.
Children 3 and 4 years old have a traditional teacher/student classroom setting while children ages kindergarten
and older are involved in multi- dimensional programs.
The Sunday School Program is based around "Rotation Sunday School." RSS involves teaching Bible stories
through music, art, storytelling, games, activities, videos and computer programs.
